KVR Princeton Gateway Vermilion Trails Society Report July 2002 The trail in the area covered by the Vermilion Trails Society has undergone numerous improvements in the past year. With the help of the Land Use Coordination Office this portion of the trail covering from Osprey Lake to Brookmere had all trestles refurbished with full width decking and hand railings. This spring the focus has been on gateway development within the Town of Princeton. Again LUCO has been there to help along with the Town of Princeton, many business partners and individuals.
July 2001 For those planning KVR - Trans Canada Trail rides this coming season, the Princeton to Tulameen section has a new look. Significant improvements from km 113 to km 145 were made over the past year. All trestles have wide decking and handrails, and all washouts have been restored to the original grade. The scenic beauty remains, only the ride has been changed to provide a safe, pleasant, and comfortable experience. Take a break at one of the new log benches along Otter Lake or check out the new B&B's that have opened.
