June 6 Tuesday rain cold -- not great weather for Bicycle touring England We rode a long ways yesterday ... although we've ridden farther on many bicycle touring trips -- especially across Canada and the United States. It was raining cats and dogs, or whatever it does in England, when we awoke. It looks very miserable to be out there on a touring bike. We stay bundled up inside and only venture out into the soggy grey area for the occasional pee break. Good book reading weather. Too bad we didn't get the tent with the optional fireplace. |
