June 24 Saturday overcast cool Bicycle touring England I awake with an extremely sore throat. It hurts every time I swallow. I have a headache and I feel tired. Not good conditions for bicycle touring. The weather is not too pleasant either. We hunker down in the tent for a rest day. Not bad. Maybe we will cycle one day and rest the next from now on. Sharon says her legs are tired from that one steep hill. Sharon spends her entire day writing a letter to Jane Gauthier, and ex-workmate whom she adores. |
