August 17 Thursday sunny Bicycle touring Sweden This is what I would call an easy day of bicycle touring in Sweden. Stayed at Yvonne's all day enjoying her deck chair, shady trees, and sunshine. Rebecca was the only one with enough energy to get on a bicycle. She pedaled back into Gothenburg to use a computer at Yvonne's work to send e-mail. The inside of Arran's pedal was loose. He tried to fix it, then, after having no luck, he put on a new pedal. Those Kiwi bicycle tourists carry more spare parts than we do! For supper, Arran made spaghetti with a great sauce. Yvonne supplied the coup de grace -- blueberry tarts. |
