Vision Statement

To be an exemplary arts council with members cooperating to enhance, stimulate, explore, and develop the artistic spirit in the Town of Princeton community.


Goals

To achieve our vision we will:

  1. establish a program for installing Princeton Art in public places

  2. support existing programs provided by members

  3. encourage participation in the arts to include a wider range of community membership

  4. support the development of Riverside Community Centre as a centre for the arts

  5. support creativity and innovation in the artistic community


Mandate

The mandate of the Princeton Community Arts Council is to support and encourage artistic creation and production in the area of the performing arts, the visual arts, arts and crafts, literature, and recreational arts. It seeks to broaden its influence by providing intergenerational opportunities to all those seeking to explore and develop their artistic interests in Princeton BC and surrounding district.


Main Venue

Riverside Centre is one of the main venues that house our many activities in Princeton BC. For more information see Riverside Centre. Princeton is located at the junction of Highway 3 and Highway 5A, 83 miles (133 km) northeast of Hope and 70 miles (112 km) west of Penticton.

Regular Monthly Meetings

Board meetings are held noon the third Wednesday of each month at a local restaurant. All members are welcome to attend.

General meetings are held quarterly: Jan, March, June, Sept at Riverside Centre at 4:30 pm.
