One Dish Chicken 'N'
Gravy
Makes 4 normal servings
or 1 cyclist's portion
3 lbs frying chicken
pieces
1/4 cup flour
2/3 cup milk
2 tsp sugar
1 -10 oz can cream
of chicken soup
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 onions, chopped
dash of paprika
How to make
1. Put chicken in
baking dish. Pour flour over top.
2. Roll chicken pieces
in flour to coat all sides.
3. Combine onions
with milk, soup, salt and pepper in a bowl.
4. Pour mixture over
chicken and sprinkle with paprika.
5. Cover dish with
foil. Bake in 325º F oven for 1 1/2 hours.
Options
¶ Use any flavour
of cream soup.
¶ Add chopped
vegetables like potatoes or carrots.
¶ Cook rice in
a baking dish at the same time.
