Chocolate Drops
Makes 5 dozen
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3 cups cooking oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1 tsp vanilla
How to make
1. Combine brown sugar,
corn syrup, butter, milk and cocoa powder in a sauce pan.
2. Bring to a boil.
Heat for one minute.
3. Remove from heat.
Stir in oats, coconut and vanilla. Mix well.
4. Drop by the teaspoonful
onto waxed paper. Cool and store in an airtight container.
