A Red Rose

A red rose, is a flower of true beauty.
A red rose is a flower to admire.
Red is the colour of blood.
A rose is the symbol of love.
Jesus gave His blood because
He loves us.
When you give somebody
a red rose, you give God's love.
God sent us a rose,
crimson red was the stain,
He brought joy, peace and love,
and lifted sin's blame.
The name of this bloodstained,
purist of flowers,
is The Rose of Sharon,
so let's make it ours!
