A Representative of Righteousness

Inspired by: Joyce Meyer

You have a royal priesthood within you.
Representing the righteousness of God.

By working in your ministry, you are
empowered and led by the Holy Spirit.
Yes! God's Spirit of love.

As a royal priesthood;
representing a living and righteous God.
You are moving in the working Spirit of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Continually moving forward, taking
ground
that the enemy had stolen.

As representatives of righteousness
we move in the Spirit of God.
Setting captives free.
Releasing them into Jesus's loving arms.
Enabling them to also walk as representatives
of righteousness.

1 Peter 2:1-25
"And this is the word that was preached
to you. Therefore rid yourselves of all malice
and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander
of every kind. Like newborn babies,
crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it
you may grow up in your salvation,
now that you have tasted that the Lord is good."

The Living Stone and a Chosen People
"As you come to him, the living stone --
rejected by men but chosen by God and
precious to him -- you also, like living stones,
are being built into a spiritual house to be
a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For
in scripture it says:
'See, I lay a stone in Zion,
a chosen and precious cornerstone,
and the one who trusts in him
will never be put to shame.'
Now to you who believe, this stone is
precious. But to those who do not believe,
The stone the builders rejected
has become the capstone,
and,
A stone that causes men to stumble
and a rock that makes them fall.
They stumble because they disobey the
message -- which is also what they were
destined for.
But you are a chosen people, a royal
priesthood, a holy nation, a people
belonging to God, that you may declare
the praises of him who called you out of
darkness and into his wonderful light.
Once you had not received mercy, but
now you have received mercy.
Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and
strangers in the world, to abstain from
sinful desires, which war against your soul.
Live such good lives among the pagans
that, though they accuse you of doing wrong,
they may see your good deeds and glorify God
on the day he visits us."

Submission to Rulers and Masters
"Submit yourselves for the Lord's sake
to every authority, instituted among men:
whether to the king, as the supreme authority,
or to governors, who are sent by him to
punish those who do wrong and to commend
those who do right. For it is God's will that
by doing good you should silence the ignorant
talk of foolish men. Live as free men,
but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for
evil; live as servants of God.
Show proper respect to everyone:
Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God,
honor the king.
Slaves, submit yourselves to your
masters with all respect, not only to those
who are good and considerate, but also to those
who are harsh. For it is commendable if a man
bears up under the pain of unjust suffering
because he is conscious of God.
But how is it to your credit if you receive a
beating for doing wrong and endure it?
But if you suffer for doing good and you
endure it, this is commendable before God.
To this you were called, because Christ
suffered for you, leaving you an example,
that you should follow in his steps.
He committed no sin,
and no deceit was found in his mouth.
When they hurled their insults at him,
he did not retaliate; when he suffered he
made no threats. Instead he entrusted
himself to him who judges justly.
He himself bore our sins in his body on
the tree, so that we might die to sins
and live for righteousness; by his wounds
you have been healed. For you were like
sheep going astray, but now you have
returned to the Shepherd and Overseer
of your souls."

Walking in the righteousness of our Savior
Jesus Christ, we are continually moving
into a more intimate relationship with
Father God.

As working vessels in Jesus Christ;
we walk in his righteousness.
A right order, before God.
Proving ourselves worthy of our
inheritance.

Hebrews 9:11-15 The Blood of Christ
"When Christ came as a high priest
of the good things that are already here,
he went through the greater and more
perfect tabernacle that is not man-made,
that is to say, not a part of this creation.
He did not enter by means of the blood
of goats and calves; but he entered the
Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood,
having obtained eternal redemption.
The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes
of a heifer sprinkled on those who are
ceremonially unclean sanctify them so
that they are outwardly clean.
How much more, then, will the blood
of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit
offered himself unblemished to God,
cleanse our consciences from acts
that lead to death, so that we may
serve the living God!
For this reason Christ is the mediator
of a new covenant, but those who are called
may receive the promised eternal
inheritance -- now that he has died as a ransom
to set them free from the sins committed
under the first covenant."

My dearly beloved; we are heirs
to Jesus Christ's throne. Where we
will be seated with him for eternity.
Serving our Creator in praise and worship.

I urge you to focus on things above.
The Spirit of our Lord Jesus is at your side.
Take his hand. He will lead you in his
sovereign righteousness.

With the Spirit of Christ Jesus reigning from
the throne room of your heart.
You are led by the exact same Spirit that
led Jesus to glory.

You, my dear friend, are a righteous
representative in God's eyes.
Because the
righteousness of his Son
Jesus Christ, reigns from your innermost being.
