A Voice in the Wilderness

Do you hear what I hear?
Listen to the voice,
Calling in the wilderness,
Praying for you to come home,
It's Jesus Christ, God's Son, rejoice!
Jesus says,
"My children I'm always near."
Listen to the voice in the wilderness,
The voice is calm loving and mild,
"I have prepared a place for you,
In our eternal Father's heavenly kingdom
above,
Come my child,
My name is Jesus, I'm God's begotten Son,
I am here with eternal love."
A voice in the wilderness draws me,
I listen to my spiritual calling,
"Come my son, sit and listen for awhile,
In my Father's name you are free,
Let me baptize you in spirit and truth,
As a reward, you will witness God's eternal
smile."
The voice I hear says,
"Let your soul freely go,
Trust in the Lord, and you will be
strengthened,
You shall mount up on wings as an eagle."
To God I give praise,
As my soul tingles and spiritually does
grow.
