Cabin on the Ridge

The cabin on the ridge,
Is surrounded by trees,
The view,
Out over the valley below,
Is awesome,
Unbelievably beautiful,
On the slope,
Numerous wildflowers grow,
The gorgeous beauty,
Aims to please.
The wind is blowing,
The sun is shining,
Plants and wildflowers,
Are growing,
Step inside,
The cabin on the ridge,
Look through the window,
Out over the valley below,
As a pair of,
Bald eagles glide,
Listen to the wind sing,
A song of love.
The view,
Through the window,
Is picture perfect,
The clouds in the sky,
With snowcapped peaks,
Below,
In the foreground,
There is a mountain,
Dressed in trees of green,
I sit and admire,
The awesome beauty,
And listen to the wind blow,
A more majestic setting,
Than this,
Is rarely seen.
The atmosphere,
Inside the cabin on,
The ridge,
Is cheery,
There is a Fisher stove,
In which to build a fire,
To warm yourself,
And not,
Become dreary.
There,
Are pots and pans,
Hanging on the wall,
You may cook,
In the cabin on the ridge,
With mountain fresh air,
That's not all,
There is a ladder,
Leading to,
A loft,
Where one can sleep,
Or a crew.
Lay,
Down, close your eyes,
And listen to the wind call,
This is a beautiful day.
I hear your name blowing,
In the wind,
Across,
This pristine ridge,
Through the trees,
And down the slope,
With wildflowers,
And moss,
Growing.
In the cabin,
On the ridge,
There is a lot to gain,
There are,
A few birds,
True beauty is near,
And afar,
Even in the rain,
Beauty is seen,
From the cabin,
On the ridge,
Too much for words.
The cabin,
On the ridge,
Was built with love,
And tender care,
When hiking,
Skiing,
Or biking,
Come in and warm your soul,
Nothing else can compare,
Everyone who visits,
The cabin on the ridge,
Leaves,
With a happy feeling,
And filled with high,
Country air.
The cabin,
On the ridge,
There isn't anything,
That can compare.
