Chickadee Delight

Holy Spirit Inspired

Sitting on a log,
enjoying a walkahaulic lunch.
A blackcapped chickadee
soars in.
And lights on an overhanging
tree branch. Yes! My feathered
friend is: within arms' reach.
The chickadee's song is;
wholesome, and truly unique.
Tea is ready! Tea is ready!
To my surprise, black cap's
loving mate, comes swooping in,
from afar.
Flitting up the tree branches
I am amazed as I listen to
the blackcapped chickadees speak.
Yes! these feathered creatures
are able to teach.
My feathered friends conversation
tells me, "In creation, all things,
great and small, are free!"
My spirit is freshened!
As each blackcapped chickadee
sings.
Tea is ready! Tea is ready!
Then off through the treetops,
my feathered minstrels soar.
Lunch with the birds!
This walkahaulic couldn't of
asked for more.
