Country Christmas

Christmas in the country is exquisite.
The landscape blanketed in soft white snow.
Trees dressed in magnificent robes of white,
resembling smiling holy angels.
Watching out for you and me.
At this special time of year, making sure,
that we have our Lord, and Savior,
Jesus Christ in our sight.
Christmas in the country,
is serene and peaceful.
A cheery fire, ablaze in the fireplace.
A splendid tree adorned with Christmas
ornaments, glistening with angel hair.
Christmas carols flowing gently throughout
the house, as a family shares in the joy of
unwrapping precious gifts.
Then standing around the fireplace,
with mugs of hot chocolate, Christmas stories
unfold.
God gave us a gift, Jesus Christ.
Jesus was unwrapped in a country setting.
In Bethlehem, in a manger.
The birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord,
and Savior, is celebrated to remind us,
that God is love.
Jesus gave his life, so that we may live.
Jesus taught his Father's ways.
A country Christmas setting is,
most relaxing.
Glistening snow sparkling in the sunshine.
Shadows of uniquely-shaped clouds, dancing
across the vast expanse of white.
In my Christian heart,
a country Christmas says, give God praise.
Merry Christmas everyone.
Praise God. Glory be to Jesus.
Hallelujah!
