Dressed in White

Holy Spirit Inspired

Hiking along, through,
a winter wonderland.
Creation, dressed in white.
Truly a glorious day.
The trees, standing as sentinels;
clothed in snowy white.
All of creation, looking fresh,
and new.
A superb, and unique,
winter landscape;
perfectly awesome, and refreshing.
Wildlife tracks are recognized,
along the way.
Coyote, and mule deer, have
wandered through.
This pristine wilderness setting.
Upon arriving at Dad's place,
I am richly blessed.
Dad says, "Come on in;
I'll make lunch."
Food! Bringing a smile to each face.
And I am rewarded with
a well deserved rest.
Homeward bound, after lunch.
The weather Has changed!
Hiking through the rain;
venturing I go.
From the tree branches,
heavily laden clumps
of wet snow, let go.
In this part of creation;
everything is being rearranged.
My! What a show.
Some of the trees relieving
themselves, of their winter white attire.
A few tree branches are glistening,
in the falling rain.
Yes! My spirit is receiving,
a freshness, from our Creator's
Masterpiece.
While hiking through this winter
landscape,
I listen to the sounds of Nature.
My heart's desire.
Upon arriving home,
I unshoulder a wet pack.
And give thanks, for
the eleven kilometres hiked today.
Through the changes in the
weather, I love to roam.
Thank you!
Heavenly Father.
I couldn't of asked for more.
A splendid, Spirit-filled day.
Yes! Indeed.
Thank you for filling my heart
with the perfectly awesome power
of your divine love;
Father God, I humbly pray.
