Family Christmas

Holy Spirit Inspired

To the Christmas tree,
so early in the morning.
The children are drawn.
Hey! Mom and Dad:
Come and see!
There are gifts by the
score.
A child is chosen to
present gifts to family
members.
Plenty for everyone,
we couldn't ask for more.
After our Christmas rush,
Mom cooks breakfast, and,
then it is served.
Yes! Each family member receives,
A steaming bowl of
oatmeal mush.
After we eat,
with warm drinks in hand
to the Christmas tree,
the family, does retreat.
Sharing with one another,
the miracle of Christmas love.
Christmas has brought
our family closer together.
As we share, in one another's
blessings.
From our Savior, in heaven above.
