High, in the heart of the Cascade
Mountain Range.
Upon a placid wilderness lake;
skirted with majestic alpine wildflowers.

Four trumpeter swans, come gracefully
gliding in.
With wings eloquently set, and
legs extended.

These birds of paradise, skim the
surface of this glassy wilderness
reflection.
Settling in on, breasts of down.

Four trumpeter swans, sharing
in the full profound glory of God's
creation.
A most picturesque setting; of feathered
friends.
