Flying horseshoes.
Beware!
As the horseshoe leaves
the thrower's hand.
The shoe has a mind of its own.
When the swing is complete
and the shoe is released.
Toward the peg, in the pit of sand,
beware!
If the shoe of heavy metal
misses its mark, and contacts
a bystander,
you may receive a broken bone.
Flying horseshoes are:
Relentless!
But when thrown by an experienced
hand, and in style,
a great game, played in fresh air
and eloquent love.
I must confess.
Flying horseshoes!
Only in Coalmont you say.
If I can stay on my guard
will you teach me how to avoid
these flying horseshoes?
Yes! the rules I will obey.
Stay clear of flying horseshoes!
