Follow Jesus

Believer in Jesus.
Follow Jesus, for He is the way.
Jesus is our only hope!
1 John 3: 1-6
"How great is the love
the Father has lavished on us,
that we should be called
children of God! And that
is what we are!
The reason the world does not
know us is that it did not
know him.
Dear friends, now we are
children of God, and what we
will be has not yet been made
known. But we know when he
appears we shall be like him,
for we shall see him as he is.
Everyone who has this hope
in him purifies himself, just
as he is pure.
Everyone who sins breaks
the law; in fact, sin is
lawlessness.
But you know that he
appeared so that he might
take away our sins. And in
him is no sin.
No one who lives in him
keeps on sinning. No one
who continues to sin has either
seen him or known him."
By following Jesus,
Christians have been set free
of the devil's snares.
When Jesus was on earth
teaching His Father's ways,
He was tempted in every way.
The faith, that Jesus had in
His Father, brought Him out
on top. Yes! Always.
Jesus was constantly
before his Father in prayer.
God's holy angels were
constantly tending to Jesus.
Hebrews 11: 1
"Now faith is being sure
of what we hope for and
certain of what we do not
see."
Walk in total righteousness
before God. Follow Jesus.
1 John 2: 5-6
"But if anyone obeys his word,
God's love is truly made complete
in him:
Whoever claims to live
in him must walk as Jesus
did."
Follow Jesus,
for He is the key to our
spiritual blessings.
Yes! Jesus is our foundation.
Isaiah 33: 6
"He will be the sure
foundation for your times,
a rich store of salvation
and wisdom and knowledge;
the fear of the Lord is the key
to this treasure."
Proverbs 9: 10-12
"The fear of the Lord is
the beginning of wisdom,
and knowledge of the Holy One
is understanding.
For through me your days
will be many,
and years will be added to
your life.
If you are wise, your wisdom
will reward you;
if you are a mocker, you alone
will suffer."
Let's pray:
Dear Father God:
We want to follow Jesus.
For He is our only hope.
We pray for our faith to grow,
in Jesus.
Father, Jesus is our perfect
example of walking in total
righteousness.
Father we want to be like Jesus,
in every way.
Father we want to endure,
and persevere, as Jesus did
when He was on earth,
teaching your ways.
Father we want to follow
Jesus, because we know
that Jesus is truth, life, and
the way. The only way to you,
Father.
Have mercy on us dear Father,
while we are living in the flesh.
Bless us each, Father, with a
suit of your spiritual armor
so that we will be able to
overcome the devil's ways,
as Jesus did.
We want to follow Jesus, Father.
We lift up this prayer in our faith
in Jesus Christ.
Amen
