Fresh Air Spirit

Floating along on a
wilderness river.
Challenged by the rough
meandering current.
Drifting along on a mountain stream
in velvet black darkness.
Enhanced with the scent of
evergreen pine.
Careening around a bend in the
solitude of Nature.
The magnificence of the rushing river;
whisking the buoyant raft, out!,
beneath a starry canopy.
The prolific smile upon each person's
weather-beaten face,
gleaming with the immortal essence
found in the wilderness spirit
of Nature.
