Psalms by Jim

From a Grizzly's Point of View

High above timberline,
Where pristine alpine beauty unfolds,
Amongst the wildflowers,
And scrub pine,
Wild stories are told,
Of the mammoth silver tip.
Burly hunters scour,
The high country,
Searching for the incredible hulk.
The grizzly is massive,
And carries a lot of spiritual power.
From a grizzly's point of view,
Man is mighty small,
And a bit of a pest,
He is always looking for
Something bigger and new.
The hunter quite often stops for a rest,
While listening for the grizzly to call.
A grizzly's habitat,
Covers a lot of ground,
We need a lot of food, and water to drink,
Grizzlies are friendly if not disturbed,
Only in the high country we are found.
From a grizzly's point of view,
Our young need a lot of territory,
To romp and play,
We're constantly looking for anything new,
This is grizzly country, thank you we pray.
