Fruit of the Spirit

Galatians 5: 22-26
"But the fruit of the Spirit
is love, joy, peace, long-suffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance:
against such things there is
no law.
And they that are Christ's
have crucified the flesh with
the affections and lusts.
If we live in the Spirit,
let us also walk in the Spirit.
Let us not be desirous of
vain glory, provoking one another,
envying one another."
Living in the fruit of
the Spirit, we are living in
Christ.
By living in the fruit of
the Spirit we are working in
Christ.
We are walking in the Spirit.
2 Corinthians 5: 17-21
"Therefore if any man
be in Christ, he is a new
creature: old things have
passed away; behold all
things are become new.
And all things are of
God, who hath reconciled
us to himself by Jesus Christ,
and hath given to us
the ministry of reconciliation:
To wit that God was in
Christ, reconciling the world
unto himself, not imputing
their trespasses unto them;
and hath committed unto us
the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors
for Christ as though God did
beseech you by us: we pray
you in Christ's stead, be ye
reconciled to God.
For he hath made him
to be sin for us, who knew
no sin; that we might be
made the righteousness of
God in him."

2 Corinthians 5: 19
Reconciliation is the
act whereby God on the basis
of Christ's death, has eliminated
the cause of hostility between himself
and humanity, making possible a
complete and maturing fellowship.
(The hostility was caused by sin,
and was eliminated by the cross.)
Application: Those who have
become reconciled to God have
also been given the ministry of
reconciliation, which is fulfilled
when they engage in soul winning.

Walk as Jesus walked,
in the fruit of the Spirit.
By walking in the fruit of
the Spirit, souls will be won.
Your heart God will touch
setting you free, in joy, peace
and happiness,
in Jesus Christ His loving Son.

Let's pray:
Dear heavenly Father:
Father, we want to be
more like Jesus.
We want to walk as Jesus
walked.
In total righteousness.
We humbly thank you
Father, for adopting us as your
sons and daughters, through
the shed blood of your Son
Jesus Christ.
Father, we lay all of our burdens
and the cares of this world,
at your feet.
As we focus on Jesus,
the author and perfecter
of our faith.
Father, we humbly pray for
your loving Holy Spirit to
lead our walk in the fruit of the Spirit
as we go forth rescuing lost souls.
Father, you are love, and truth,
we pray for wisdom as we walk in the
fruit of the Spirit.
We pray that we may walk as Jesus
walked, in total humble righteousness.
We pray Father that we may
walk in a godly way,
not being led into temptation.
Father, we pray for deliverance,
from the evil one as we walk in
the fruit of the Spirit.
Father we pray for guiding guardian
angels to lead us in a holy and righteous
way, may your will be done Father, not ours.
Amen
