Glory of the Cross

Jesus died upon that rugged cross.
Jesus followed His Father's ways.
Jesus accepted our every sin
and brought glory to His Father above.
Jesus gained everything, there was no loss.
Through the glory, of the cross
each true, humble, meek, God-fearing Christian
has been rewarded.
God is the creator of love.
His Son, Jesus Christ, is loving and true.
Jesus gave His life in the flesh.
Upon that rugged cross, through Jesus
we have everything to gain.
Luke 23: 41-43
"And we indeed justly; for we
receive the due reward of our
deeds: but this man hath done
nothing amiss.
And he said unto Jesus
'Lord, remember me when thou
comest into thy kingdom.'
And Jesus said unto him
'Verily I say unto thee, today
shalt thou be with me in paradise.'"
Jesus lived a pure perfect life.
while on earth, He taught His Father's ways.
Jesus taught us how to truly live.
Jesus glorified His Father's Holy name while
on that rugged cross.
Thank you Jesus, for being so humble,
meek, and true.
Praise you Jesus, for all that you had to give.
Luke 23: 46
"And when Jesus had cried
with a loud voice, he said, 'Father,
into thy hands I commend my
Spirit': and having said thus, he
gave up the ghost."
Living in the flesh isn't easy
Jesus was tested every day.
Jesus kept in contact, with his Father
through prayer.
Jesus overcame all tests, by faith
in God above.
Glory of the cross, thank you Jesus
each true, humble, God-fearing Christian
does pray.
Praise you Father, for your guidance
and love.
1 Corinthians 15: 43-45
"It is sown in dishonor; it is
raised in glory: it is sown in weakness;
it is raised in power:
It is sown a natural body;
it is raised a spiritual body. There
is a natural body, and there is a
spiritual body.
And so it is written, the
first man Adam was made a living
soul; the last Adam was made a
quickening Spirit."
The glory of the cross
has terminated death, and given us life eternal.
Once the job, God has given us to do
is complete, we will be raised up in glory.
Be strong, my brothers and sisters in Christ.
Focus on Jesus, and follow His ways.
Jesus, and our Father, are loving and true.
John 14: 1-4
"Let not your heart be troubled:
ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are
many mansions: if it were not so,
I would of told you. I go to prepare
a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a
place for you, I will come again,
and receive you unto myself; that
where I am, there ye may be also.
And whither I go ye know,
and the way ye know."
John 14: 6
"Jesus saith unto him, 'I am
the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father
but by me.'"
The glory of the cross
brought Jesus, to our heavenly Father's throne.
Jesus is your guiding light, Holy and true.
My brothers and sisters in Christ
I pray you focus on Jesus.
And follow His ways.
Live for Jesus, and be lifted up in glory.
Glory of the cross, thank you Jesus
we adore, and love you.
Glory, glory, hallelujah, praise God.
Amen
