God Uses Broken Things

After supper, on the night
that Jesus was betrayed;
He took bread.
After giving thanks,
Jesus broke the bread,
and gave it to his disciples.
Saying, "This is my body;
broken for you.
Do this in remembrance of me."
Partake!
With the broken bread;
and at the foot of the cross
followers of Jesus Christ are
broken.
As we focus on our Creator's ways.
By believing in and following Christ's
ways,
we are lifted up in spirit.
Through our brokenness, God's
holy, divine, precious, and living
Word is spoken.
