Hike With a View

Hiking along through the snow,
along a bench to the west.
Admiring the splendid beauty of,
Mother Nature as I go.
Creation dressed in winter attire.
At its best.
Three and a half kilometres
along the way,
I halt in my tracks and gaze
down over the Tulameen River valley
below.
The view is superb, exquisite,
making my day.
The Tulameen River meandering,
through the valley bottom, as a
snake.
Gleaming in the sun.
Trees dressed in snow white.
Broken cloud cover above.
A hike with a supernatural
view.
In which I did partake.
