Into the Twilight

Holy Spirit Inspired

Into the twilight I hike.
With Nature whispering through
the winter landscape.
A three-quarter moon peering
over my shoulder.
Twilight hiking,
a professional walkahaulic's
enriched delight.
Moonbeams dancing,
upon the settled snow.
A picture perfect setting.
The backdrop is:
Nine mule deer silhouetted,
in a tree-skirted snowy meadow.
Bathed, in moonlight.
Most enhancing!
Twilight is overtaken,
with the moon's golden glow.
My spirit is freshened.
In creation, I am partaking.
Witnessing Mother Nature's
shadows, that have been cast
upon the glittering snow.
