Jesus Has Won the Battle

Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior,
has won the battle.
When Jesus lived on earth,
teaching His Father's ways,
He was constantly tempted.
As we are today.
Jesus lived as perfect man
free of sin.
Through supernatural power
of the Holy Spirit,
that Jesus was given from the Father,
Jesus put the devil in his place.
We as Christians have that same
awesome supernatural power today
through baptism of the Holy Spirit.
We have a constant fight on our
hands, just as Jesus did.
But the loving Spirit of Jesus Christ
dwells deep within each true
Christian heart.
Giving us strength to overcome
the devil's ways.
1 John 4: 4
"Ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them: because
greater is he that is in you, than
he that is in the world."
Adam and Eve were tempted.
They let go of their creator, and fell
into sin.
Certain death was the penalty.
Jesus came to earth, crushing
the devil's ways.
Yes! conquering death.
And putting an eternal smile
on His loving Father's face.
Jesus has won the battle.
By believing in Jesus we win.
John 3: 15
"That everyone who believes
in him may have eternal life."
Glory be to Jesus, for being
true and faithful,
to His eternal Father.
Hallelujah! Amen.
