Joy in the Lord

There is great joy,
In serving our Lord,
With our Lord, we are free of earthly ways,
Each true Christian has the spirit,
Of our Lord, nestled deep within their heart,
Joy in the Lord, Christians humbly give praise,
True Christians are free,
With joy in the Lord, true Christians,
Are in love, we will never part.
In serving the Lord, there is great joy,
Our spirits, are gliding, as on wings
of eagles,
Lifted ever so high,
With joy in our Lord, soaring right along,
Each spiritually-filled Christian sings,
Glory, glory hallelujah.
By serving the Lord,
All true Christians, have been blessed,
Our Lord, has given us each,
Eternal life, in heaven above,
Joy in the Lord is exhilarating,
Spiritually uplifting,
Joy in the Lord will set you free,
To God we give our all,
With joy in the Lord we have true Christian love,
Praise God.
