Living for Jesus

Am I truly living, for Jesus?
A question, every true, humble, meek,
God-fearing Christian,
of themselves should ask.
Living for Jesus requires godly
faith.
Following Jesus's ways,
we are walking in godly love.
In the presence of the Holy Spirit,
we intimately bask.
Living for Jesus we are: divinely,
and most richly blessed.
With power, and authority, to overcome.
Living for Jesus we are able to accomplish
all things.
Living for Jesus, our hope is at rest.
Living for Jesus,we are a
new creation.
The old has gone, the new has come!
Living for Jesus, and following through,
We know, beyond a shadow of a doubt,
that we will each receive:
The crown of life.
Inspiring our spirits, to shout!
Jesus, we love you.
Revelation 2:10
"Do not be afraid of what you are
about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will
put some of you in prison to test you,
and you will suffer persecution for ten days.
Be faithful even to the point of death, and
I will give you the crown of life."
When we believe,
and live for Jesus;
we will each receive:
Eternal life!
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he
gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not
perish but have eternal life."
Father God, in heaven above.
As Jesus, when he was here on earth,
teaching your ways.
We pray that we may always be on guard.
With our shields of faith held high.
Thank you Father God, for:
The living hope, that we each have
in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Thank you Father, Abba, Daddy, for
the fruit of the Spirit.
Love, joy peace, happiness, patience,
self control, kindness, goodness,
gentleness, and faithfulness.
Father, by living for Christ, we
have crucified the sinful nature
with its passions and desires.
Father God, living for Jesus, we are:
Living by the Spirit.
Father, with humble hearts we pray that
we will be more than able to keep in
step with the Spirit.
In faith dear Father, we lift this
humble prayer up before your throne
of grace, as a sweet smelling incense.
In the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen, and Amen.
