Make the Lord Your Refuge

Psalm 91:1-16
"Those who live in the shelter of
the Most High will find rest in the shadow
of the Almighty.
This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place
of safety; he is my God, and I
trust him.
For he will rescue you from every
trap and protect you from deadly disease.
He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor
and protection.
Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day.
Do not dread the disease that stalks in
darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
Just open your eyes,
and see how the wicked are punished.
If you make the Lord your refuge, if you
make the Most High your shelter, no evil will
conquer you;
no plague will come near your home.
For he will order his angels to protect you
wherever you go.
They will hold you up with their hands so
you won't even hurt your foot on a stone.
You will trample upon lions and cobras;
you will rush fierce lions and serpents under
your feet!
The Lord says, "I will rescue those who love me.
I will protect those who trust in my name.
When they call on me, I will answer;
I will be with them in trouble.
I will rescue them and honor them.
I will reward them with a long life and give them my
salvation."
Make the Lord Jesus Christ; your refuge.
Be anxious about nothing;
live in the Spirit of our Savior Jesus Christ.
With the Lord Jesus Christ being your refuge;
you are protected from the wicked ways of this world.
Make the Lord Jesus Christ your refuge;
you will find your spirit drawn into a much deeper
and more intimate relationship with Father God.
Make the Lord Jesus Christ, your refuge;
Beneath his wings you have protection.
Your spirit is always at peace.
With your spirit freshened, and finely tuned,
your heart and mind are continuously being renewed
in Jesus Christ's righteous and most holy ways.
Make the Lord Jesus Christ your refuge.
You will find your walk of faith focused. Strengthened
and your spirit renewed throughout each and
every day.
Psalm 34:7-10
"For the angel of the Lord is a guard;he surrounds
and defends all who fear him.
Taste and see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys
of those who take refuge in him!
Fear the Lord, you his godly people, for those
who fear him will have all they need.
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry,
but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good
thing."
Father God;
Creator of the heavenly lights.
Your begotten Son Jesus Christ is our harbor of hope;
our refuge. Oh, Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Thank you Father God, for inspiring us to draw near
to you. Through the blood that Jesus Christ shed
upon the cross of Calvary.
Greater is He that dwells in us than he that is in
this world. Oh, Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Beneath the shadow of your wings, Father God.
We have protection and your salvation. Hallelujah!
We praise you and glorify your mighty name.
In the Lord Jesus's most holy and sacred name.
Amen and Amen.
