My Spirit Soars

My spirit,
Is soaring,
Along,
The Tulameen River,
With a massive,
Bald eagle.
My spirit,
With,
The massive,
Bald eagle,
Are skimming,
The surface,
Of the Tulameen River.
We're hungry,
A fish or two,
Would be nice,
As we glide,
Over,
The surface,
Through,
The mist,
A morsel,
Comes into sight,
We,
Lock our talons,
On the back,
Of a grandfather fish,
My,
What a fight.
With our prize,
The massive bald eagle,
And my spirit,
Flap our wings,
And soar,
Up,
Above the Tulameen River,
All of a sudden,
We realize,
Bald eagles,
With spirits,
Must eat.
After,
The massive,
Bald eagle,
And its spirit,
Devour,
Eagle's catch,
We two,
Soar,
Up the Tulameen,
River valley,
For an hour.
The,
Massive bald eagle,
And its spirit,
Find,
A lonesome pine,
On,
Which we light,
The setting sun,
With,
Glowing colours,
Is a real delight.
While,
The twilight,
Is sneaking,
Through,
The trees,
My spirit,
Soars back to the bluffs,
And gives me,
A squeeze.
