Persevere

I am Jesus Christ,
your loving Lord and Savior.
When I was on earth,
and taught my Father's ways
I was tempted to give in
to the devil.
And leave my Father behind.
I had confidence in my
Father.
My faith in the Father
was exceedingly strong.
Living in prayer,
I constantly gave my Father
praise.
In faith, I persevered,
in my Father's love.
Hebrews 11: 6
"And without faith it
is impossible to please
God, because anyone who
comes to him must
believe that he exists
and that he rewards those
who earnestly seek him."
Hebrews 10: 35-36
"So do not throw away
your confidence; it will
be richly rewarded.
You need to persevere
so that when you have done
the will of God, you will
receive what he has
promised."
Many saw the faith
that I had in my Father,
when I was living on earth.
People saw me heal the sick,
and raise the dead.
They felt my Father's presence.
My faith moved me
closer to the Father, Yes!
each and every day.
In faith, my confidence grew,
in the Father.
The Father revealed
my treasures in heaven.
Persevere my Son.
For I love you.
With confidence
I persevered,
my daily trials.
I obeyed my Father's
every command.
I gave my life
in the flesh, upon that
old rugged cross, to buy
back your every sin.
By persevering
and fulfilling my Father's
will,
I was raised in glory.
James 1: 12
"Blessed is the man
who perseveres under trial,
because when he has stood
the test, he will receive
the crown of life that God
has promised to those
who love him."
Let's pray;
Dear Father God:
We come before your throne
of grace.
Father we want to be more
like Jesus.
Father we pray for a renewing
of our hearts and minds.
We humbly praise you Father
for the confidence that you have
given us in Jesus Christ.
The author and perfecter of
our faith.
Father, in you all things
are possible.
We pray for our faith to grow
as your will unfolds.
We pray dear Father
that we will be strong in
your word, and be able
to persevere our daily
trials as Jesus did.
Amen
