Reverberating Thunder

Reverberating from the Granite Creek
canyon walls;
the thundering sound of Granite Creek
being lifted in the vacuum of the narrow
gorge.
Echoing throughout the meandering
valley corridor.
Nature calls.
Scant deciduous shrubbery, skirting
the steep rocky shoreline.
Sparsely dressing the sheer-faced
embankment, stunted weather-beaten
evergreen trees are anchored; in the
split rocky crags.
A scant broken cloud cover enhancing
the skyline;
of this reverberating thunderous scene.
