Step by Step

Step by step we are,
Moving closer, to God above.
Jesus is our guiding light,
He is never very far.
Step, by step, true, humble, meek, God-fearing,
Christians are gaining sight.
Of God's eternal love.
Step by step, true Christians, are advancing.
We are moving forward, taking ground.
The Holy Spirit, which dwells, within each,
Humble Christian heart,
Guides our spiritual way.
Praise you Jesus for our spiritual strength.
And all that you receive, from our Father,
And truly teach.
Step, by step, true, humble, meek, Christians,
Are walking with Jesus.
Father in heaven above,
Christians, humbly thank you,
For the love of your begotten Son.
Step by step we're moving closer.
Glory, to your name Jesus, for your love.
I pray we never part.
John 14: 18-21
"I will not leave you as orphans;
I will come to you.
Before long the world will not,
See me any more, but you will see me.
Because I live, you also will live.
On that day you will realize,
That I am in my Father, and you,
Are in me, and I am in you.
Whoever has my commands and,
Obeys them, he is the one who loves me.
He who love me will be loved,
By my Father, and I too will love him,
And show myself to him."
2 Corinthians 5: 14-15
"For Christ's love compels us,
Because we are convinced that,
One died for all, and therefore all died.
And he died for all, that those,
Who live should no longer live,
For themselves but for him,
Who died for them and was raised again."
Jesus, is our guiding light.
Shining, bright, upon our spiritual path,
On which true humble Christians walk.
Step, by step we're moving closer.
Eternal life is in sight.
John 3: 15-16
"That everyone who believes in him,
May have eternal life.
For God so loved the world that,
He gave his one and only Son, that,
Whosoever believes in him shall not,
Perish but have eternal life."
Jesus Christ, is our guiding light.
Upon our spiritual path.
Jesus is leading the way.
Step, by step, we're gaining ground,
In Jesus, everything is cheery and bright.
Thank you Jesus, each true humble Christian,
Does pray.
Praise you Lord, for being so humble and sound.
Psalm 119: 105
"Your word is a lamp to my feet,
And a light for my path."
My brothers and sisters in Christ.
I pray for you to be strong.
Follow that spiritual light, that,
God has placed before you.
With faith, and by putting your trust,
In Jesus you can't go wrong.
Hebrews 12: 2
"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus,
The author and perfecter of our faith,
Who for the joy set before him endured,
The cross, scorning its shame, and sat,
Down at the right hand of,
The throne of God."
Glory, glory, hallelujah, praise God.
