This summer day,
which is: So muggy and hot.
Draws all of my energy,
and makes me weary.
A strawberry milkshake
kind of day!
Why not?
As the heat of the day
does build.
My mind is fixed on a
strawberry milkshake.
Into the kitchen I stride.
With a plump juicy strawberry
leading my way.
With the fixings
my favourite refreshing drink,
the blender does make.
It's a strawberry milkshake
kind of day.
A strawberry milkshake is
so refreshing.
Better than chocolate?
Yes!
Why? Because my love for
strawberries will never be
denied.
It's the strawberry flavour,
to which I am addicted.
The essence of a strawberry
milkshake I do savor.
I once tried a chocolate milkshake,
but it conflicted with my
summer day.
Strawberry milkshakes are:
The best!
Strawberry milkshakes have
a much richer character.
A strawberry milkshake
kind of day.
Sitting in the shade,
with a strawberry milkshake.
I know that I am relaxed,
and everything will be okay!
On a hot summer's day,
the strawberry milkshake
is my ultimate friend.

With a strawberry milkshake
in hand, my face is wearing
a jumbo straw filled smile.
What more can I say?
