Come, folks, and gather around;
I have a tale to tell.
It won't cost you a dime!
If you believe that, things will be just swell.
We'll get along just fine.

Our precious dog becomes alert.
To the boardwalk, Faithful Fergie
leaps in a single bound.

From beneath;
From the safety and cover of the boardwalk;
an astounding creature scurries!
Energized by, Faithful Fergie's nose.

Down the east side of F.R.E.D.
{Our home}.
This most majestic fur ball disappears,
into an ancient pile of rubble.

What is Faithful Fergie chasing?
Diane asks.
That, my dear, is a frightened Hephalump.

From beneath the boardwalk;
Faithful Fergie's nose must of looked like
a double-barrel shotgun.

Not to worry my love;
the energetic Hephalump has promoted
itself to Morris's yard.
Relieving us, and Faithful Fergie of
future trouble.

Hephalumps? Blau!
Creatures we can do without.
Pests, to say the least.
