The Lord's Supper and Sorrow Turned to Joy

Holy Spirit Inspired

On the day, that our Savior Jesus Christ
was betrayed
He took bread and the bread he broke.

To his disciples the bread
he graciously gave.

"This is my body, take and eat
in remembrance of me."
Our Lord Jesus spoke.

Then taking wine,
speaking to his disciples, Jesus
said, "This is my blood;
drink this in remembrance of me."

Our Lord Jesus Christ,
has been resurrected from the dead.
And lifted up in full and honorable
glory.

Jesus is at the right hand of his Father's
throne of grace.
Jesus is in control of all creation.

By confessing with your mouth
that Jesus Christ is Lord; and by
believing in your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you will be saved.

Seeking first his kingdom;
your sorrows are left behind.
A Christian's every need is provided.

By seeking first his kingdom
our heavenly Father does smile.
Providing our unique joy in the Lord.

Focusing on the Lord's supper;
and the Spirit of Jesus rising heavenward,
to the right hand of
his Father's throne of grace.
Leading our spirits into eternity.

The Lord's supper
and sorrow turned to joy.
Walking in the complete joy of
the Lord.

Led by the Holy Spirit we are:
Drawn into a more intimate relationship
with our heavenly Father, who to
God-fearing Christians has revealed
his Holy face.
In the power of the cross, and his
unfailing righteous love.
