The Lord is My Light and My Salvation

I give God my all,
Each and every day,
The Lord is my light and my salvation,
In Him I trust,
The Lord gives His love,
When I am in need,
I may slip, but the Lord will never let me fall,
The Lord is my light and my salvation,
He gives me my spiritual thrust.
God guides me from above,
With our Lord, I am freed,
Thank you Lord I pray,
The Lord is my light and my salvation,
He guides me in everything that I do,
By living in prayer,
I'm following our Lord's guiding light,
I am filled with eternal light and joy,
By absorbing all, that God does bring,
I know that He is true,
The Lord is my light and my salvation,
God is love, and truly does care.
By following God's ways,
I will always do what is right,
The Lord is my light and my salvation,
When I need security and protection,
I snuggle up beneath His wings,
Here I am loved and strengthened,
With the Lord as my savior,
My Christian heart continually sings,
Praise God.
