The Thirsting Soul

Psalm 63:1, 2
" O God, thou art my God;
Early will I seek thee: my soul,
Thirsteth for thee, my flesh,
Longeth for thee in a dry and,
Thirsty land, where no water is;
To see thy power and thy glory,
So as I have seen thee,
In the sanctuary."
Jesus Christ is our savior,
And guiding light,
The thirsting soul Jesus will,
Fulfill,
Jesus is a lamp upon our,
Spiritual path,
God will satisfy the soul,
That is honest and true.
Isaiah 55:3
"Incline your ear, and come,
Unto me: hear, and your soul,
Shall live; and I will make,
An everlasting covenant,
With you, even the sure mercies,
Of David."
Our souls belong to Jesus,
It's the thirsting soul,
Our savior Jesus Christ is,
Looking for,
Jesus gave his life, for each,
And every soul.
Luke 23:34
"Then said Jesus, Father
Forgive them; for they,
Know not what they do.
And they parted his,
Raiment, and cast lots."
Our souls were bought ,
And paid for,
With our eternal Father's,
Awesome, divine, pure,
Holy love,
The thirsting soul couldn't,
Ask for more,
God has given our souls,
A lot of thought.
The thirsting soul,
That holds fast to what,
Is fine,
Jesus Christ will nourish,
And feed,
Feast daily, in God's word ,
The Holy Bible, pure and divine,
The thirsting soul that lives in prayer,
Will be spiritually freed.
3 John 2
"Beloved, I wish above all things,
That thou mayest prosper,
And be in health, even as,
Thy soul prospereth."
The soul that does thirst ,
For God's wisdom and knowledge,
Prays for guidance and direction,
Walks with Jesus and will be first.
Psalm 25:9
"The meek will he guide,
In judgment: and the meek,
Will he teach his way."
The thirsting soul,
Is being guided, by the Holy Spirit,
Nestled within, your heart and mind,
Open your spiritual eyes and ears,
Follow Jesus, and your thirsting soul,
Shall be fulfilled,
Jesus is our savior,
Jesus Christ, and God's Holy Spirit,
Your thirsting soul will bind.
Psalm 33:20, 21
"Our soul waiteth for the Lord:
He is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice,
In him, because we have trusted,
In his holy name."
