The Word of Christ

The Word of Christ

From God above,
All Christians have been given,
The word of Christ,
Which is God's gift of love,
The word of Christ has set all,
True Christians free.
God says ... James 1:22
"But be ye doers of the word,
And not hearers only,
Deceiving your own selves."
In the word of Christ,
Believing Christians are given,
A new, clean, spiritual life in Christ,
Deep within, each true Christian heart,
The word of Christ does live,
In the word of Christ,
Christians are most truly living.
God says ... Philippians 2:16
"Holding forth the word of life;
That I may rejoice in the day of Christ,
That I have not run in vain,
Neither labored in vain."
The word of Christ,
Must be shared, with each and everyone,
In God's creation, yes around the world,
Jesus Christ is, King of kings,
Our Father in heaven has put Jesus,
In control, of Christian lives.
John 6:68
"Then Simon Peter answered him,
Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou,
Hast the words of eternal life."
God gave up the life of,
His one and only begotten Son,
To free mankind of their sinful ways,
Our Father in heaven is the creator,
Of love,
In the word of Christ,
Eternal life, each true Christian,
Has won,
It's Jesus Christ, that true Christians,
Worship and praise.
Jesus says ... Matthew 24:35
"Heaven and earth shall pass away,
But my words shall not pass away."
God has given each true,
Christian a spiritual gift,
Exhilarating warm Godly love,
And the word of Christ,
In Christ all things are fresh,
Clean and new,
Live the word of Christ,
And experience a unique spiritual lift.
I live in the word of Christ,
Each and every day,
Christ has touched my innermost heart,
Thank you Lord I humbly pray,
Hallelujah, amen.
