The Works of God

Standing in a stream,
Beneath a pristine alpine waterfall,
On a warm summer day,
I feel my body gleam,
With God's love,
Which is caressing me,
From above,
Thank you God I pray.
God draws my attention,
Up on shore,
There, in an alpine meadow,
Filled with wildflowers,
And grass,
A magnificent bull elk is feeding,
Butterflies and birds,
Are flitting about across the meadow,
The works of God are too many,
To mention.
There is more,
While standing in this alpine stream,
Beneath this pristine alpine waterfall,
My body is being caressed with God's love,
Which is cascading,
Down from above,
God draws my attention,
To the far end,
Of the pristine alpine meadow,
A family of rabbits,
Are hopping about,
In amongst the alpine wildflowers,
On this warm summer day,
God's creatures are happy,
Without a doubt,
Thank you God I pray.
God guides me,
Out from beneath the pristine,
Alpine waterfall,
I meander across the alpine meadow,
And hug a tree,
I love you God, I love you, I love you,
I love you true,
While hugging this tree,
And thanking God,
A warm tingly feeling,
Flows through me,
God's love,
Has descended,
Like a dove.
God's works are seen,
Throughout the universe,
God's works are free,
God and I make a great team,
Thank you God,
For letting me hug your tree,
Thank you God for sharing,
Thank you God for caring.
