These boots are,
Made for walking,
My boots will tackle any trail,
These boots of mine,
Love walking afar,
When walking out,
In Mother Nature,
My boots never step on,
Plants which are frail,
These boots are made for walking,
Without a doubt,
When I open the door,
Of the house,
These boots look for a trail,
I couldn't ask for more,
These boots are made for walking.
I've put on a lot of miles,
With these boots of mine,
I quite often sing a song,
While my boots are,
Carrying me along a trail,
I've talked,
To a lot of folks,
And received a lot of smiles,
These boots have walked along,
Some treacherous places,
These boots are made for walking,
These boots of mine,
Have seen a lot of ground,
When I meet folks out on the trail,
These boots stop and I start talking,
I love the smiles,
Which appear on people's faces,
These boots are made for walking,
A lot of new friends have been found.
These boots are made for walking,

Long or short,
I love walking,
In the high country,
Through alpine meadows,
The lush green,
And wildflowers, I love which are frail,
Once in awhile,
In the alpine, a bull elk bellows,
These boots are made for walking,
A lot of beautiful country I've seen,
Many memories make me smile,
These boots are made for walking,
Which is a real sport.
These boots are made for walking,
These boots will take me anywhere I want to go,
These boots have even taken me through,
The brush,
Where a rabbit wouldn't go,
These boots are made for walking,
I'm always seeing something new,
The birds, animals and different plants,
That I see,
Gives me a real rush,
These boots are made for walking,
The true beauty in Mother Nature is free.
These boots are made for walking,
They will always go,
Along any trail,
In sunshine, rain, or snow,
These boots are made for walking.
