Under Arizona Skies

Under Arizona skies,
the desert comes alive.
Early in the morning,
the eastern skyline is gorgeous,
truly exquisite.
The master of the heavens,
unveiling his breathtaking,
pastel colors.
Which just flow across our
Arizona sky.
The sleeping desert, God does
revive.
Saguaro cactus stand tall,
across the desert floor.
Each saguaro, in the shape of
a cross.
As we listen for desert sounds,
we hear the saguaros talk.
The saguaros are truly speaking,
of our creator's love.
My friends in Christ, and I,
simply couldn't ask for more.
As the golden sun rises,
in the sky.
Casting saguaro shadows,
across the Arizona desert
landscape.
My friends and I stand,
in awe, as we witness
desert wildflowers,
unfold their petals,
thrusting forth
their admirable Arizona
God-given intricate divine beauty.
God is love.
His beauty stretches for miles,
across the saguaro shadow
casting desert floor.
In the heat of the day,
sweat running down each
Christian face,
we look at each other
sharing desert smiles.
Heading back to town
we hunt for some Arizona shade.
Into a quaint cafe we stroll.
After being seated, we order
cold refreshing drinks
for all.
Sharing our love and thoughts,
of the Arizona desert wilderness,
with our brother,
Jesus Christ.
As the day begins to close,
our God-loving desert admirers
head back out into the setting sun.
In the twilight, desert animals
come out to eat and play.
Most intriguing, our desert wildlife
friends,
scurrying in amongst the desert
foliage, feeding as God,
gently, ever so gently
sings the saguaro cactus family
into an Arizona desert
sleep.
As the shadows disappear
into the desert darkness,
the desert critters come alive,
prancing and dashing
about.
Till the new day, begins to dawn.
Then God guides his creatures
back to safety.
God is in control.
This is how the Arizona desert
does thrive.
Our vacation has come to
an end.
It's back to our loving Christian
families we must go.
Hugs and squeezes are shared,
with each and every friend.
Praise you Father God.
Our creator, we love you.
The exquisite heart-pumping
beauty
found in the Arizona desert.
And the saguaro cactus,
resembling a cross,
that our Savior Jesus Christ
gave his life on,
so that we may live.
Reminding us dear Father
that your love will never end.
Praise God. Glory be to Jesus.
Hallelujah!
