Walking in the Snow

In the newly fallen snow,
hiking I will go.
As I begin walking,
God begins talking.
Gently whispering my name.
Jim, it's you whom I dearly love.
Look to my throne, in heaven above.
I have lifted you up, on eagles' wings.
Listen, as each holy angel sings.
In Jesus's name, we will guide you.
Our Savior's ways are holy and true.
Father, I am listening.
And watching the snow glistening.
As my heart, you do touch.
Father, I love you so very much.
Thank you for being at my side.
Father, your intimate love cannot
be denied.
Our walk through the newly fallen
snow.
Has given me strength to spiritually
grow.
Listening to my Creator's voice.
Makes my Christian heart rejoice.
