Wilderness Welcoming Committee

Upon hiking into the Tulameen River's
shoreline.
Our ears pick up the sound of a
wilderness air raid.
A mated pair of soaring Canada geese
honking,
mingled with the sound of running water.
After being serenaded with a feathered splash;
the pair of Canada geese lift off, and glide
effortlessly on the guiding air currents
across the reflective river's surface, to a
back eddy on the far shore.
Breaking water with their outstretched legs,
these magnificent waterfowl, open
the airwaves with their splendid call of the wild.
These two Nature lovers couldn't ask
for more.
Truly relaxed? Yes!
On the Tulameen River's shoreline.
Supreme wilderness blessings.
To this Jan and I confess.
Mother Nature's Welcoming Committee;
Superb and eloquently divine.
Our spirits soar.
In wilderness meditation.
Lost in the inspiring and refreshing sounds
of Nature.
Bird songs reverberating, across Nature's expanse.
Mingled with the serene peace, found in
creation.
Jan and I are uniquely blessed
in the grip of Mother Nature's genuine
soul touching radiant love.
