Wildflower Carpeted Slope

Holy Spirit Inspired

Upon arriving,
at the abandoned Blakeburn Ball Park,
my spirit does receive.
A picture-perfect blessing.
Just back of a grove of aspen,
the slope is thriving.
Carpeted in scarlet red, Indian
paintbrush.
God's creation, caressed in,
the full richness of His love.
Sitting in amongst
the aspens.
I pull a variety of rations from,
my walkahaulic pack.
High energy food appears, beans!
A royal blessing.Yes! indeed.
Naturally propelled, for my hike back.
Just above the tree line,
an embankment of cumulonimbus clouds
appear.
The clouds drifting across the sky.
Caressing the southern horizon.
Riding the air currents above,
this billowy body, are:
Wisps of angel's hair.
A conglomeration of clouds,
guided across heaven by;
our Creator of love.
Filled is my field of view.
With our Creator's abundant display,
From a foreground of wildflowers,
to the tree line in the background.
The horizon, skirted in a heavenly
array, of varied broken cloud cover.
Laying on my back, gazing up,
through a hole in the aspen canopy
above.
A cloud dappled sky. Filled with
the presence of angels.
God gently whispers my name.
Filling me to overflowing,
with His intimate love.
Locking my heart and mind,
in prayer.
Thanking and praising God.
For the vastness of His creation.
Our Creator's glorious love, I will
never deny.
This perfectly awesome day,
has truly blessed my heart, and mind.
My spirit has received what God has
to give.
Royal, abundant, unending, intimate
love.
Father God, thank you for blessing
me so richly. I pray.
Your ultimate love is holy and supreme.
Thank you Abba, Daddy.
For refreshing my humble spirit,
from heaven above.
