April 24 Monday Bicycle touring France It rained all day. We are still hunkered down inside our little bicycle touring tent. The never-ending mass of grey clouds appear to have permanently swallowed the sun. I can't even tell where the sun is in the sky it is so dark and dismal. While lying in my bicycle touring sleeping bag, I read cheery Stephen King stories ... which, somehow, fit the somber mood perfectly. Now, if only I had a roaring fireplace to curl up beside, it would be perfect. |
